Duke University
Durham, North Carolina
About the School
Duke University started in Trinity, NC. The school soon adopted that as the name of the college. In 1924, the Duke Family bought Trinity College, establishing graduate programs, keeping the undergraduate program Trinity College, and changing the name of the whole school to Duke University. Undergraduate and graduate programs enroll about 6,000 students each. We proudly support all of our Division 1 teams, especially our basketball team, winner of 3 national titles (’91, ’92, and ’01).
