| NCFCR Spring Conference Announced Amanda Colunga, Communications Director 3/24/2008 9:41:32 PM The NCFCR is pleased to announce that the Spring 2008 North Carolina Federation of College Republicans Convention will be held April 11th-12th at the Downtown Marriott in Greensboro, North Carolina. We have a great line-up this year including the Gubernatorial candidates, US Reps Foxx and Coble, skilled panelists, and other statewide candidates. Cost to register for the convention is $40. The convention will start registration on Friday April 11th at 5pm (dinner will start at 7pm). We will finish after electing new officers on Saturday, most likely around 4pm. Hotel Information: |

We would also like to congratulate Campbell University for winning our recruitment challenge and increasing their membership by 200%. The NCFCR Fall Convention culminated in a shuffling of positions starting with the resignation of our former Administrative Vice-Chair, Dustin Pittman. The North Carolina Federation of College Republicans is holding their 2007 Fall Convention on October 5-6 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The convention will be held at the Velvet Cloak Inn on Hillsborough Street in downtown Raleigh and will feature prominent conservative speakers who are dedicated to leading today’s youth in the conservative movement. The convention has scheduled a Friday evening dinner, which is open to the public for a fee and will include two speakers, three Saturday morning training seminars, and a Saturday afternoon luncheon which will feature the remainder of the speakers. A business session will follow the luncheon and there will be an executive board meeting following the convention. Read the official Press Release... Duke CRs in the News9/20/2007 10:32:00 AM On the night of Monday, Sept. 10, the Duke Conservative Union in conjunction with members of the Duke College Republicans placed 2,974 flags in front of the Duke Chapel. As heads of the two organizations, we were proud to see everyone come out and help set up our non-political memorial to those who were murdered on 9/11. Read more... |
